Eco-responsibility is not just a passing trend—it is a collective responsibility and the very essence of Cabaret Vert. The festival was founded with a deep commitment to raising public awareness of these critical issues.
Cabaret Vert is a holistic experience, embracing sustainability in every aspect of the festival—from music, cinema, and graphic novels to performances, food, beverages, hospitality, and guest speakers. We strive for consistency in our approach. Our discussions extend beyond ecology and biodiversity to encompass waste management, energy efficiency, social connections, responsible consumption, local supply chains, regional development,
social entrepreneurship, and solidarity.
A FESTIVAL COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABILITY AND SOLIDARITY
Respectful of its ecological, social, and economic ecosystem, Cabaret Vert is guided by principles of sustainable development and solidarity. In 2019, the festival established a roadmap outlining 12 ambitious actions and objectives to be achieved by 2025 :
